3/17/13 p. HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY

This is a family recipe.  Easy to make and delicious.

4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
8 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/4 cup of caraway seeds (may be eliminated)
1 c. raisins (boil for 1 minute; discard water; use.)
1 pinch of salt
2 beaten eggs
16 oz. sour cream

By hand, mix the first 8 ingredients, then add the sour cream by the tablespoon, mixing well
in between tablespoons, until all sour cream is added.

Grease pan or 2qt. casserole dish.  Bake at 325' for about an hour or until knife comes out clean.
